The map below shows the states attending each regional summit:

State teams will work together before each summit to develop a PowerPoint overview of accomplishments, strengths, and challenges in self-advocacy. During the summit, state teams will continue to work together to develop a plan for possible next steps that can be taken in their state to strengthen self- advocacy. Teams will also develop recommendations for national activities and policies that could help strengthen self-advocacy at the national level, and have informal discussions about the roles and functions and needed supports for the growing self-advocacy movement.
